Team Emanate

Even though we did not have formal classes this summer it was quite busy for us as a staff.  We were cheering on our students while they built their jungle camp houses doing whatever we could to help and encourage them.  And then there was the big push on move up day to help in the move.  A couple of our staff families were living up in the bush with our students.  Empty student apartments needed to get fixed up and ready for new students.  So a team was painting while others did the fix it jobs.  Our child care and maintenance team put in an incredible amount of work adding another room to our child care program room for the growing amount of little ones coming into the training with their parents.   Then there is prep going into class schedules, organizing chapel speakers and the list goes one. We also had our trip to South America. And Vern took a counselling class.  So we were all filling needs.  Last week we had our official staff kick off which is a time for us all to regroup and cast a vision for the fall, spend time encouraging each other, and praying for our students and for us as we enter a new semester.  We have an amazing Emanate staff and each of us wears several hats.  We would appreciate your prayers as in three days our official semester begins.  We will have 37 students from four different countries. YEAH GOD!!!
