Westward Bound

On June 22nd we started our road trip to BC.  Since we don't get furloughs like when we were on the field it is harder to get away from our ministry at the training center to connect with our churches and supporters out in BC.  To maximize our time here, we drove as far as we could, as fast as we could.  One day we were on the road 19 hours.  Our first stop was in Chicago, although we just said a quick hello to my parents and enjoyed a pizza together for their 59th anniversary.   Then we jumped in the car and hit the road again.  We have already had some very special visits with some very dear people and we are enjoying worshipping at our home church here in Salmon Arm.  We made a trip to the coast and tomorrow we leave bright and early for Buick Creek, BC which is about 1,100 km north of here.  We are looking forward to connecting with more very dear and special friends.  We are thankful for the safety we have had so far and pray for the many miles we have yet to travel.
