Once Upon a Time . . .

Thirty years ago God blessed our family with the gift of our second son Seth Robert.  I was expecting him at the end of June and here he arrived almost at the middle of July during quite a heat wave.  He is the only child I had in Chicago,  so it was fun to be close to family for at least one of my children.  Seth was 14 months old when we moved to Venezuela so he grew up in the Llanos.  It was hard to keep shoes on his feet as he loved running barefoot.  He told me he could run faster without shoes.  And here we are now, 30 years later.

Happy 30th Birthday Seth!  We are so thankful for your life and privilege we have to be your parents. As you enter the 30's may you enjoy all that God has for you especially the precious little treasures God has entrusted to you.  How we wish we could celebrate with you today but we are celebrating across the miles.  Keep walking with God and making a difference in this world.  Have a wonderful day and great new year ahead!
