Appomattox, VA.

It worked out for us to visit Titus on Saturday and so we were looking for something we could do in the area. I have not visited any Civil War Historical sites so it was nice to find out that Appomattox, VA. was only 25 minutes away.  For those of you who do not remember what happened there, this is the site where Robert E. Lee surrendered to Ulysses S. Grant.  It was quite interesting and I am glad we were able to take in a bit of history.
