The Safe Child Program

Last week I was involved in teaching two different grade levels of the "Safe Child" program.  It teaches prevention of sexual, emotional, and physical abuse by people known to the child; prevention of abuse and abduction by strangers; and safety in self care.  There is a five minute DVD that the kids watch every day and then time to role play situations by playing the "What If" game.  If your child has not had any of this teaching it is very valuable and worth taking.
