Minute Minglings
Every Thursday for our chapel time we have a split chapel where the men and ladies have their separate chapel times. We do different things throughout the semester. Sometimes we will have visiting missionaries come in and share. Other times we have staff ladies or student ladies share. God teaches us in so many ways in and outside of the classroom. It is an important part of our spiritual life to share the joys and challenges we face and how we have seen God's faithfulness in our lives and through the circumstances we go through. Last year we shared such quality and meaningful times together every Thursday and we are looking forward to another great semester together as ladies. To kick off this first ladies chapel I had a "Getting to Know You" activity that we did. Everyone was split up in pairs and I gave them a random question or topic for then to talk about. Every minute I would ring a bell and the ladies would rotate to pair up with someone new. I would then throw out another random topic for them to talk about and we continued that way through the chapel time. Given the noise level I would say it was a success in learning some fun things about each other.

BINGO
Last week was our orientation week and this week we started in with our normal classes. Today was the first day of our "Fellowship Groups". Once a week we break up all of the students and Emanate staff into groups and an Emanate staff couple host a group in their home. This year we have five groups. During this chapel time we have a snack together and is a time to get to know each other better and to cheer each other on in our walk with the Lord. We just love hosting a fellowship group and how God grows us closer as a group. This first fellowship group I worked out a getting to know you activity where everyone sent me random facts and I put it together in a BINGO card. It was good to mingle and find out some interesting facts about each other. We are looking forward to a great semester as we make memories together as a group.
