Great is Thy Faithfulness
I am sure we can all see God's hand at work in our lives if we stop long enough to see it. On Saturday after they read Ruth's name and she walked across the stage and she got her scroll and got "hooded" with her MSN the tears were just flowing. It was a time of rejoicing and thanking God again for his faithfulness to our daughter. She worked so incredibly hard however there were some huge challenges as she worked full time and juggled her classes and all of her clinical hours. Even her getting into the Family Nurse Practitioner program was through the hand of God. Many people in her program applied to several universities as it is so hard to secure a spot. She applied to one believing if God wanted her in the program He would work out the details. Life was so crazy busy for her and at times when she didn't know how she would have the time to get everything done. Then, all of a sudden a surgery would get canceled and it would free up time in her schedule. There were times it looked like the school might not find a placement for her to get her clinical hours in. But each semester something worked out and many times it was with a doctor or nurse pracititioner that really invested in Ruth and it made for a wonderful learning environment. In the middle of the intense 27 months of nontop school she had to change jobs to work weekend hours to get all of her clinical hours in during the week. Once again God worked out an OR job that worked with her schedule. So as you face incredible challenges in life remember with GOD all things are possible. He is there for you, lean into Him. It was a huge privilege that it worked out in our schedule to be able to attend Ruth's graduation and celebrate with her. YEA GOD!!!!
