Easter Weeked

It was a good weekend to make some great family memories.  We of course missed having Ruth home. (The pictures of Aurora and Gideon in the shower were from the left over balloons from Titus' birthday when I filled the shower with balloon.  Aurora and Gideon has a great time in there with all the balloons.  :))

Finish Line Faith!

I have been in Chicago for the last few days connecting with family and friends.  It has been so good but I would have to say the highlight was singing with my Grandmother tonight.  My grandmother is an amazing person.  She is 98 and she loves the Lord.  She is house bound and hasn't been able to go to church for a few years now.  I had to fight back tears as we sang, "Because He Lives", "What a Friend We Have in Jesus", and "Great is Thy Faithfulness".  She has been through a lot in her life time, but she is finishing strong.  What a testimony!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

In celebration of the first day of spring we are getting snow! 

 

Touched by an Angel

My recovery is going a bit slower then I would like, therefore  I am still pretty limited as to what I can do in the kitchen.  I felt like I was "Touched by and Angel" when  I received a phone call from a friend this morning saying she was cooking a pot of soup for us for lunch.  What a blessing that was and how we appreciated her labor of love!

Just What the Doctor Ordered

Usually Saturdays are a cleaning day for me.  I am kind of limited in what I can do, so I did no cleaning this Saturday.  Laughter is good medicine and that was exactly how I spent the afternoon; enjoying spending time with the family especially my grandchildren.  As you can see Gideon enjoyed painting and coloring with markers.
