Father's Day 2013!

Vern and I have the amazing blessing of having father's who are true men of God.  How we thank God for them.  Unfortunately due to many many miles in between us we were not able to be with them today.  We did however spend the day with three fathers, Vern, Caleb and Seth.  I am so thankful for the wonderful Father Vern is to our children.  He truly leads with his with servant hood leadership.  We are proud of our sons Caleb and Seth and the great dad's they are to our grand children.  It was a joy to spend most of the day together and celebrate these fathers.  For all you fathers out there, thanks for investing in your children and for leading your families.  You are making a difference!

Jungle Camp Move Up Day!

Our students have been working really hard for the past two weeks building their jungle camp homes.  Today they are hiking up all of their supplies for the next four weeks. By 5:30 p.m. they will officially start living in jungle camp.  Please be praying for them as they finish hiking the last of their things up to the bush and as they begin their four week jungle camp experience.  It is always a very stretching time and yet a great time to make some amazing memories together as a class.  Way to be Jungle Camper!  We are proud of you and how hard you have worked!  Happy Jungle Camp 2013!!!!

Happy 30th Anniversary!

Thirty Years ago today Vern and I walked down the aisle to become husband and wife.  Our journey together has taken us all over the place, living in many different locations.  We have made some incredible memories throughout the years.  We have experienced many joys as well as challenges along this path in life. God has always shown himself faithful to us in every way.  God has blessed us with the joy of being parents and now grandparents to some amazing children and grandchildren.  There are still a few things on the bucket list that we dream about doing.  However, we could not ask for anything more in life as God has so greatly blessed us more then we could have ever dreamed.

June Highlights

WOW!  Looks like I haven't posted anything for awhile so here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks.  Some of the highlights: Glenn was here for a six day visit. We all are enjoying our snuggle time with baby Jeremiah. We finally got a bat so we could try out Chicago style softball, and Aurora is always helping me in the kitchen.  In the last couple of weeks she has helped me make Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, empanadas, muffins, bread and pita breads.  And as you can see from the pictures there is always a lot of tasting going on.
