Camille Dyck - RN

Yesterday we received the exciting news that our daughter in law Camille passed her nursing exam and is officially an RN.  Congratulations Camille!  We are SO PROUD of you!  All your hard work paid off.  You are such a caring and compassionate person you will make a wonderful nurse!  We know God is going to use you as a nurse to touch many lives!

The Road to Recovery

Thanks so much for your prayers for me with my surgery.  Things went well and now I am working on trying to get my tendon moving again.  I went to the doctor today for a post-op visit.  I then went to see the physical therapist.  Since there were some people who asked for pictures I am posting them.  My hand if pretty swollen and stiff but these first ten days of recovery are very important to try to get as much movement as possible.  Thanks for praying for me through this ordeal.  

Metal Plated

I would appreciate your prayers as I head down to London tomorrow to get the metal plate out of my thumb.  The tendon is stuck to the metal plate.  Hopefully once the metal plate is out I will be able to regain movement in my thumb.

Building Their Resume

One of Caleb's first jobs was washing dishes in a restaurant.  It looks like Aurora and Gideon are following in their dad's footsteps.  They are starting to build their resume with their experience washing dishes at Grandma's house.  They were having so much fun they couldn't even look up for a picture.

Almost to the Finish Line

This week we have had the joy of having Ruth home for her spring break.  It is hard to believe she is on the home stretch of getting her BSN.  In some ways it seems like it was just yesterday that she started university.  In other ways it has been a LONG four years filled with MANY, MANY,  hours studying in the library and too many sicknesses to count.  We are thankful for everyone who has been in Ruth's cheer leading squad.  Monday Ruth starts her last two months of university, the finish line is in sight.  Keep going Ruth!!!!  We look forward to meeting you at the finish line April 26th and 27th  for your Pinning and Graduation!  You won't be able to miss us at the finish line.  We will be the one's blowing those horns, yelling "Great Job Ruth, You Made it"!

Twenty eight years ago we entered a new phase in our lives called “Parenthood” as we welcomed our first child Vernon Caleb Dyck into our family.  Caleb, how we thank the Lord for your life.   It thrills our hearts to see how you pursue God and all He has for you.   We are here cheering you on!  Keep walking this life of faith, and making a difference in this world.

We are so proud of Camille.  She has worked so hard to get her nursing degree and on Wednesday will be taking the Canadian Registered Nurse Exam (CRNE).  Camille, we are praying for you and cheering you on.  You are an amazing young lady.  We know God will use your sweet and tender spirit to be a blessing to your patients.  Keep touching lives for eternity!
